Minimum requirements:
1. Professional Experience
Must have at least one year (1560 hours / 30 hours per week) of full-time or part-time continuous work. Volunteer work and unpaid internship do not count.
Professional experience has to be within the last 10 years, and skill type 0, or skill levels A or B of the 2011 National Occupational Classification (NOC).
The obligations set forth in the occupational description of the NOC must be verified, including all essential duties and most of the major functions listed.
If it is not possible to show that the work experience meets the NOC description, the candidate will not be eligible to apply for that program.
2. Proficiency in English and / or French
It is necessary to reach the minimum level of knowledge of the languages spoken in Canada (CLB) 7, through an approved test by the IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada). The test will verify the knowledge in four categories: speech, reading, understanding and writing.
3. Educational level
You need to have high school in Canada, college or other degree. Or have completed your studies in your home country and make an equivalency of your diploma using one of the institutions accredited by Canadian immigration.
4. Selection Factors
If all the conditions set out in the minimum requirements are fulfilled their application will be evaluated based on the following selection factors:
- Proficiency in English and / or French;
- Educational level;
- Professional experience;
- Age;
- If you have a valid job offer;
- Adaptability.
5. Proof of Income
You must prove that you have enough money to support yourself and your family in the
Canada unless:
- Be working legally in Canada;
- Have a job offer.
